The Rundown: The Ultimates go on a rescue mission and find themselves in a deadly trap.
Iron Lad learns that there is a secret prison for superpowered beings and he assembles the entire Ultimates team to breach the facility and help. As they make their way through, they discover too late that they have walked into a trap laid by Banner who invites them to sit and have tea.
To make matters worse, the team cannot escape and are forced to face Banner and his gamma powered team. At the same time, Doom works to find a way to find his team before it’s too late.
The Story: Ultimates continues to be an engaging and compelling story and Camp creates some great moments of tension and suspense throughout this issue. I love the danger of the story and the stakes involved with the characters. Banner is an intriguing and effective villain and the story has some brutal and intense moments that lead to a shocking cliffhanger that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Juan Frigeri delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how Frigeri frames the characters and the blistering action.
